The base section of a Stothert & Pitt crane at the Huskisson Dock, Liverpool. Still operational even if it looked like a relic of auld decency.

I know this crane well, been driving it (them 1 of 3) for the past ten years untill Jan 2009 when TNB went bust and we all lost our jobs. the cranes are no longer used and yes they were very old, built just after the war in 1950.
