Photos from my journeys around Europe and elsewhere, while working on a merchant ship. A nautical angle may be evident.

Digital cameras

I mostly use an Olympus E-510 with Olympus Zuiko 14-45 lens or Sigma 55-200 lens.
I have also used an Olympus u760, and a Kyocera S-5. Last but not least is the handy Mobile phone camera on my Sony Ericsson.

Analog cameras

Minolta Dynax with Tamron 18-200 zoom
Olympus mju.

I use Photoshop CS2 to play around with some of the images. Next on the shopping list is CS3 and a Wacom tablet for all those layer masking and colouring jobs that take all year.

I have my eye on a new lens too, a 12-60 Zuiko!

I hope you enjoy the photos, and leave a comment if you like!

Thanks to flickr.com some of my photos were spotted by travel guides company Schmap and are in their current Hamburg & Cork editions. Paperman is the photo in the Hamburg edition.
This photo is in the latest Cork edition…Bells of Shandon
